Chef Steve grew up in upstate New York, in an Italian family where food brought the family together. He aquired his first job at the age of 16, at a local pizza joint. Approximately two years later, his brother Tom, (who is also now a chef) recruited him to cook at a local seafood restaurant to help work his way through college and broaden his cooking expertise. At that point Steve was hooked.
Following a brief stint in New England, Steve moved to Colorado. Upon graduating from Johnson & Wales University, with a culinary degree, he worked at several high-end establishments. While he enjoyed the work, he knew there was something missing out there...a niche for comfort food served with class and style.
